The ABS material (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) used by the original manufacturer of the MEHARI bodywork is a specific automotive grade ABS. (ref: 60 white 1034: 1).
A special additive incorporated into the ABS material protects the ABS molecules against traviolet radiation.
This type of automotive ABS is the only one to maintain flexibility and impact resistance over time.
We supply parts from a number of different sources including Citroen original parts through parts made on original Citroen tooling to third party after-market parts. The product image includes a graphic which indicates the quality of a specific part as follows:
