Shipping policy
How we deliver your parts, what it costs and how long it takes.
We pack and send every order from our workshop in Warminster. UK orders go by FedEx or Royal Mail. Orders to the rest of the world are quoted individually, so you only pay what your parcel actually costs to send.

The short version
- UK delivery is one charge per order: you pay the delivery band of the largest item in your basket, not a charge per item.
- Most UK orders go FedEx Next Working Day. If everything in your basket is small enough for a jiffy bag, you can choose Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked for £3.95.
- Outside the UK, we email you a delivery quote after you order. Nothing is sent until you have agreed it.
- Orders delivered outside the UK are sold without UK VAT. Your country may charge import tax, duty and a handling fee on delivery.
- Deliveries must be signed for by an adult. If a parcel arrives damaged, refuse it and call us.
- You can collect your order from our workshop in Warminster for free: choose "Pick up" at checkout.

Every part belongs to a delivery band. Your order pays the charge for the highest band in your basket, once. For example, a windscreen and a set of spark plugs costs £32.95 to deliver, not £32.95 plus £9.95. The exact charge is shown at checkout before you pay. UK delivery prices include VAT.

If your basket contains a very large item, checkout shows "Shipping quoted by email" at £0.00. We will email you a delivery price after you order (see Orders we quote by email below).
For Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, small items cost £3.95, small parcels £8.95 and standard parcels £9.95, sent by Royal Mail or FedEx. Tyres, large parts, windscreens and glass, front wings and very large items are quoted by email after you order.
Orders to Jersey and Guernsey are sold without UK VAT, which is removed at checkout. The Isle of Man is part of the UK for VAT, so UK VAT is charged as for UK orders.
In-stock orders placed by 1pm on a working day (Monday to Friday, except bank holidays) are normally dispatched the same day. FedEx Next Working Day then usually arrives the next working day. Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked usually arrives within two to three working days of dispatch. We will email you when your order has been dispatched.
Some parts can be ordered when we are out of stock, and some are made to order. If anything in your order is not ready to send, we will email you with an expected dispatch date. Very large items can take longer, and we will give you an approximate date when we quote.
Unless we agree a different date with you, we will deliver within 30 days of your order. If we cannot, we will contact you and you can choose to wait or cancel for a full refund.
We deliver to most countries. Because international delivery depends on the size, weight and destination of each parcel, checkout shows "International Shipping – we will email you with an accurate shipping cost once the order has been weighed and measured" at £0.00.
A few countries that our carriers do not serve cannot be selected at checkout. If your country is not listed, please contact us.
Prices for orders delivered outside the UK do not include UK VAT. It is removed at checkout.
For international orders, and for very large items anywhere, this is what happens after you order:
- We pack and weigh your order, then email you the delivery price and the service we recommend.
- If you are happy with it, you reply to confirm and pay the delivery charge by the secure payment link we send you, or by bank transfer.
- We dispatch your order and email you the tracking details.
Nothing extra is charged without your agreement. If you decide not to go ahead, we will cancel your order and refund everything you have paid.
We do not collect your country's taxes or duties. Customs or the carrier may ask you to pay import tax, duty and a handling fee before they deliver. These charges are set by your country, not by us, and change from time to time, so the amounts below are a guide only.
- Isle of Man: UK VAT is charged as for UK orders, so there is nothing more to pay on delivery.
- Jersey: 5% GST if your order, including delivery, is over £60, paid to Jersey Customs before delivery. Guernsey: nothing to pay.
- European Union: your country's VAT on the goods and delivery. Since 1 July 2026, parcels worth €150 or less also pay a flat €3 customs duty for each type of item; above €150, normal duty applies. Carriers add a handling fee, typically €2 to €8 by post and at least €15 by courier. Ask us which service keeps fees lowest.
- Norway: 25% VAT plus a carrier fee on every order.
- Switzerland: 8.1% VAT when the VAT comes to more than CHF 5, plus a carrier fee. There is no customs duty on car parts.
- USA: US customs duty applies to every order, based on where each part was made. Your delivery quote will say whether it is included or will be billed to you by the courier.
- Canada: GST/HST on almost every order, plus a CAD 9.95 Canada Post fee or a courier brokerage fee. Duty may apply to parts not made in the UK.
- Australia: usually nothing to pay on orders up to A$1,000. Above that, 10% GST, possible duty and an import processing charge.
- Everywhere else: please check your local customs rules before you order.
All deliveries must be signed for by an adult aged 18 or over. If nobody is in, the carrier will leave a card or retry, depending on the service.
Please check your parcel when it arrives. If it is damaged, refuse it and contact us straight away, and we will send a replacement as quickly as we can. Please do not sign for a parcel as "unchecked". Your order is our responsibility until it has been delivered to you.
If your order has not arrived within the expected time, please contact us and we will trace it with the carrier.
Collection from our workshop is free. Choose "Pick up" at checkout and we will email you when your order is ready. Collection is by appointment, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, from Unit 1, Old Silk Works, Warminster, BA12 8LX. Please call 01985 841327 to arrange a time and bring your order number.
Orders collected from our workshop include UK VAT, wherever you live.
