About Barry

Barry is an original 1979 right hand drive citroen 2cv van AK400.

Citroen made a small number of right hand drive ak400s for the channel islands and the Belgium post office.

Barry is one on the very few survivors.

We purchased Barry in 2020, the in early 2022 a customer ordered a full rebuild on Barry and in late 2022 he went off to his new keeper.

Barry was used weekly until our customer decided to order a new burton from us and made the hard decision to part with Barry.

Barry is sitting on a galvanised chassis. In 2022 we welded all new floors, sills, lower bulkhead panels and fitted new wings and side panels.

As you can see, Barry is in top condition and is ready to go.

Once we have sold Barry we will do a 12000 service and a full cavity wax to prevent any rust forming in the future.

We will put Barry through a MOT.
