Shows and Events 2014
As some of you may know, we started a new adventure last year with a H Van and some coffee. We have teamed up with Qualitasse, coffee suppliers, and we have started to serve top quality coffee at all shows and events we attend as The 2cv Shop. If you went to the NEC Classic Car show last year you probably would have seen us and I hope if you had a coffee, you enjoyed it.

We will be attending some more shows and events in 2014 with our coffee H Van and we would love it if you came to see us at some of these events.

The Travelling 2cv
Once upon a time, there was a little 2cv that lived in Malta with his owner. The 2cv was feeling down in the dumps as he had not spent any time in the sun or on the road in a very long time.

His owner could see how sad the little 2cv was and he decided to do something about it. He looked around and found someone who could help. He arranged for The 2cv Shop to come and collect his sad little 2cv so he could have a make over and be a happy little 2cv once again.

The 2cv Shop did just that, they travelled 4000 miles to collect the little 2cv from Malta and brought him back to the UK where he stayed in their workshop. The little 2cv felt like The 2cv Shop had brought him back to life and no longer felt sad, in fact he felt happy.

The happy little 2cv was now ready to be reunited with his owner, so off he went on another journey with The 2cv Shop by his side. They travelled to France where the little 2cv would be going to out on the road again and taking his owner all the way home, back to Malta.

The little 2cv was so happy to have his old life back with his owner. Now the little 2cv will be out in the sun all day long and his new paint will glisten like no other. His owner stepped in and took his seat behind the steering wheel and the little 2cv’s new engine sprung to life and off they went to travel the roads like they had done so many times before.

SURPRISE! Happy Birthday!
This is the 2cv before it came to us. Rotting away in the field waiting to be rescued and rebuilt to become a birthday surprise!

Over the last 6 months we have been working on 2 surprise birthday presents, this is something we have never done before. We have loved every minute of it!

As you can see from the photos, the second rebuild came to us in a bit of a mess to say the least however we have given her life again and her owner is pleased to have her back in her life.

There have been times where it was difficult to keep quiet, however neither of them suspected a thing and were very very happy when they were handed the keys to their old friends.

We came up with a very deceiving plan for the first one and hid one of our old 2cv’s under the cover in the garage to replace the one we were taking to rebuild (luckily she never looked under the cover).

Needless to say everyone was very pleased that everything went to plan and both wives loved their surprise.
If you think we are boring here at the 2CV shop then you probably have no heart, but you can request us to leave you off the list for future newsletters by replying to this email (send from (%Email%)) with REMOVE in the subject.
